Our History

We have been fortunate to have had generations of family leadership in delivering quality services to our customers.

Way back when, a young man with a vision and the motivation to make something for himself founded a company that now bears his name. Since 1890 there have been 24 U.S. American presidents and man has invented the airplane and landed on the moon. Indeed, when William J. Quinn founded the company, the first World Series was more than a decade away! Yet during the past 131 years, W.J. Quinn has been responsible for helping to build much of Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. We have built facilities for businesses that employ thousands and we have proudly built homes, schools, and churches.

While the company is no doubt tied to closely to our family, it is our long standing connection to our community – our extended family – that continues to drive us forward.
